Diana believes that no one in our community should fear where their next meal will come from or how to keep themselves sheltered. But the ongoing pandemic and economic downturn put a strain on our city, and the homelessness crisis in Denver got even worse from 2020 to 2021.

That's why Diana is making this issue a top priority and taking action. Recently, she requested millions in federal funding to support Denver area nonprofits addressing and preventing homelessness.

This funding will be used to support stable housing, wraparound services, healthcare, early intervention, and other services to help people get back on their feet.

Many in our community don't have basic necessities like food, shelter, and safety. This reality, combined with the harsh, unpredictable Colorado weather makes it urgent for us all to take action.
