In Thursday’s 7–2 decision from the Supreme Court, the justices ruled that Texas and other objecting Republican-led states had no legal standing to bring the challenge to court.

BAKER | Researchers found 68.2 percent of mass shootings between 2014 and 2019 were either domestic violence incidents, or perpetrated by shooters with a history of domestic violence. “Gun violence has many forms, but it is clear that a history of interpersonal violence should be a deciding factor in whether or not an individual should continue to have access to a gun.”
