Another Republican attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and strip millions from their health care has been defeated, John.
The more than 30 million covered by the ACA and the 130 million with pre-existing conditions can breathe a sigh of relief. But the fight isn’t over.
Over a decade after the ACA passed Congress, Republicans are still filing lawsuits trying to get it repealed. That’s why my #1 issue when I ran for re-election in 2020 was protecting health care — because it needs protecting.
Republicans won’t stop suing to void people’s health care and raise their costs. And if they take back Congress in 2022, they will start to pass bills to repeal the ACA as well. We can’t let that happen.
I’m a champion for health care, and I’m also the second most vulnerable Democrat across the country (as the only Congressional Democrat in Pennsylvania to win a district where Trump won). Will you pitch in $25 or $35 so that I can hold this seat and Democrats in Congress can stop the GOP’s reckless assault on Americans' health care? [[link removed]]
Appreciatively,
Matt
