We saw an important victory today. By throwing out a challenge backed by Donald Trump, the Supreme Court once again upheld Obamacare.
That’s right. After more than a decade of vitriolic attacks, the Affordable Care Act is standing strong — Americans still have protections for pre-existing conditions and expanded access to healthcare.
But instead of fighting for more equality in health care, Trump and his cronies have wasted time and taxpayer dollars fighting losing battles.
We should celebrate this victory, John, but we can’t take our eye off the ball.
We have to maintain our House majority and expand our majority in the Senate. We have to keep Georgia blue. We have to fight existential threats to health care protections every time they appear.
