Throughout her time in office, Mayor Cantrell has been a strong ally of the LGBTQ+ community. Now, you can celebrate Pride Month and show your support for both the mayor and the LGBTQ+ community wherever you go with a "New Orleans is for all y'all" t-shirt! ([link removed])

As mayor, LaToya Cantrell has created an LGBTQ+ liaison office in City Hall and undertaken a needs assessment for the LGBTQ+ community. She has also taken steps to ensure fairness and equality throughout the city, including leading the effort to establish the Human Rights Commission in the city charter.

Thanks in large part to her efforts, New Orleans received a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Municipal Equality Index. ([link removed])
