If you haven’t yet seen, President Biden has tapped Tracy Stone-Manning of
Missoula to lead his Interior Department’s Bureau of Land Management. At least
one Montanan can be counted on to protect public lands.

Governor Gianforte, on the other hand, has been a great friend to private
business owners and fossil fuel companies that want nothing more than to drill
through all of Montana’s public lands. He has pushed to privatize public lands
while also signing legislation that abandons Montana hunters and favors
wealthy, out-of-state trophy hunters.

Here at the Montana Dems, we’re dedicated to electing a Democratic Governor
and Democratic State Legislators that will focus on reducing our reliance on
fossil fuels and building a new energy future, together.
