Dear John,
Fathers make a difference.
This statement has held true in so many ways in my own life. In fact, my father was one of my biggest influences. And he gave me an incredible model to follow when it came time for me to become a father.
I am also blessed to work with so many great fathers at Human Coalition. Some of them have adult children and are seasoned pros at fatherhood, while others are just starting out on their journey with their first children.
In honor of Father’s Day, one of the newest dads at Human Coalition wanted to share his story with you.
Just a few months after Tim Alford started at Human Coalition as a writer, his father passed away suddenly from a heart attack. It was only weeks later that he faced his first Father’s Day without his dad.
Then, after a couple of months passed, he had another life event that changed his perspective on fatherhood: his wife told him that she was pregnant and that he was going to be a dad.
At this unique time in his life, where he is learning the ropes of being a father while still walking through the loss of his own, Tim wanted to share the top lessons he has learned from the fathers in his life.
Take a few minutes today to read his story in the most recent blog post: www.HumanCoalition.org/Fathers-Make-A-Difference/
As we approach Father’s Day this weekend, I hope you’ll take time to celebrate all the fathers in your life. And thank them for the impact they have had in your life and in the lives of others.
Because fathers make a difference.
For Life,
Jeff Bradford
President
P.S. — Fathers make a difference in the fight for life. Their presence, their love, and their support can literally mean the difference between life and death for a preborn child. Learn more in the most recent blog post: www.HumanCoalition.org/Fathers-Make-A-Difference/
