Hey there,
Fox News is predicting Florida's Senate race this cycle will be “one of the most expensive U.S. Senate races in history” -- and Sen. Marco Rubio is on the chopping block.
Rubio thought he was securing his seat when he voted to acquit Donald Trump even after admitting that Trump was “practically and morally responsible” for the January 6 insurrection.
And he got what he wanted -- Trump's endorsement, and the GOP's millions to protect his vulnerable seat.
But those are two things Val Demings has never been scared of. Demings led the prosecution against Donald Trump as an impeachment manager in the 2020 impeachment trial. She knows “nobody is above the law,” and she's going to prove it by defeating Trump's puppet, Rubio, in 2022.
Democrats nationwide are excited about Demings, team -- because we know she can win. Demings made history as the first Black woman to serve as chief of police in Orlando, FL. She then went on to win three congressional races and be included in Biden's VP short-list. She's exactly the type of person who can stand against a powerful incumbent like Rubio.
But this is going to be an expensive race -- and Rubio already has the advantage. If we don't start catching up soon, Democrats will never be able to flip Florida.
