Hey there,

We already know that the Kansas GOP is targeting my seat in the upcoming redistricting process, and we already know that it’s going to be tough to fight off their attempts to gerrymander us out of Congress.

But with our Federal Election Commission (FEC) deadline coming up, we’re falling behind where we need to be to hold our own against their attacks. That’s why my team set a goal to raise $6,000 by Friday to get us back on track.

After June 30, we have to publicly release our fundraising numbers, and those numbers reflect how strong our grassroots support is. With all eyes on us during the redistricting process, we must prove our grassroots strength.

Serving the people of Kansas is the most rewarding job in the world to me, and I’m not ready to let the Kansas GOP write me out of Congress. It is crucial that we have a strong showing at the end of June, but right now we’re falling short of where we need to be.
