Rep. Lauren Boebert Once Again Shows Her True Colors and Votes Against our Country's Best Interest. This past Tuesday (June 17), Rep. Boebert voted NO on H.R.3325 -- a bill that would award four congressional gold medals to the United States Capitol Police and those who protected the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. The bill passed with an overwhelming bipartisan majority of 406-21, with all House Democrats and 188 Republicans in favor. Boebert was the only Coloradan to vote against the bill. In a statement to Colorado Politics, Rep. Boebert accused Democrats of trying to "score cheap political points" with the legislation. Rep. Boebert goes on to add, "once again, Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats prove that there is no level they won’t stoop to. I’m not here to play their partisan games.” Honoring Capitol Police for their service on January 6 shouldn’t be a partisan issue. But apparently, Rep. Boebert disagrees. Why doesn’t Rep. Boebert believe Capitol police deserve to be honored for protecting our Capitol? Does she still believe the January 6 rioters are righteous in their actions? John, will you help us show Rep. Boebert how widespread the support for the Capitol Police is by calling Representative Boebert's Congressional office and demand she issue an apology? If you live within Representative Boebert's district (CO-03), please contact her Congressional office at (202) 225-4761 and demand that she apologize for her shortsighted vote against recognizing the heroic manner in which the Capitol Police distinguished themselves on January 6? With your help, we can flip Rep. Bobert's seat and elect a new champion for Coloradans to rally behind.
