Before Donald Trump left the White House, he offered a last-minute giveaway to Big Pharma. He enacted a regulation that eliminates the government’s ability to step in when a corporation charges an unreasonable price for a taxpayer-funded invention, such as a vaccine or prescription drug.

Social Security Works members submitted more than 60,000 official comments against this regulation, and urged President Biden to reverse the regulation.

John, he didn’t listen.

Joe Biden did not step in to stop Trump’s giveaway to Big Pharma, but that doesn’t mean we’re giving up. The Commerce Department can still reverse the rule, and we need champions on the Hill and grassroots support to keep the pressure on.
