Friend, The Affordable Care Act just set a record: 31 million Americans now have health coverage thanks to Obamacare. It's a huge milestone for health care in our country. COVID-19 has shown how important it is that everyone can access affordable, quality care. It’s also shown that our work to strengthen Michigan’s health care system isn’t over. Increasing access to mental health services, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, ending racial and economic disparities in access to care, we still have work to do. I believe healthcare is a right, not a privilege. I know you do too and that’s why I’m asking for your input. I'm proud of everything we did to stop Republicans from taking away our health care. After everything they did to repeal and weaken the Affordable Care Act, 11 years later, it's still standing strong. And it's all because we stood together and refused to let Donald Trump and the Republican party take us backward. Thank you for everything you've done and continue to do for our health care. Thanks, Debbie Stabenow
