Our Washington Senate Democrats worked hard this session to advance racial justice and address systemic racism in law enforcement, education, and more.
Now, they’re preparing to keep standing up for justice in the months and years ahead — but they need to hear from you.
We’re still looking for about 250 more responses before our survey closes tonight, so we’re coming to you directly:
Will you take our survey and let us know what you think about the work Senate Democrats have done to combat systemic racism — and how we can keep standing up for communities of color?
We’ve witnessed violence against communities of color across this nation for far too long.
That’s why our members took major action on police accountability this session, passing a dozen bills to ban chokeholds and no-knock warrants, ensure independent investigations of deadly uses of force, prohibit law enforcement from acquiring military equipment, expand civilian oversight of law enforcement, and so much more.
Do you support the efforts WA Senate Democrats have made to advance justice and equity for Black Americans? What do you want us to do next?
Your responses are critical as we prepare for all of the hard work ahead, so please share your thoughts today.
Thanks for everything,
The Team at WSDC
