It’s Emily -- Elaine’s Finance Director. The end of the month is the FEC’s public reporting deadline. This will be the first time we’re publicly reporting our fundraising numbers since Elaine’s Republican challenger, Jen Kiggans, entered the race.

I know that the race for this battleground seat will get a lot of attention, so I want to give the pundits and the Republican dark-money super PACs something to talk about. That’s why I talked to Elaine about increasing our fundraising goal by 5%.
