John, I really am concerned about these unprecedented Republican attacks on our voting rights.

The truth is that all of this is going to impact poorer families and people of color substantially — and it’s all in the name of Republicans gaining power in Congress next year and beyond.

Unsurprisingly, Republicans in Congress have no interest in passing the For the People Act, which has now been approved by the Democratic House and will be voted on by the Senate before June ends.

We need to pass this bill for our voting rights and to clean up our elections — I still need 2,785 activists to sign on by midnight to help me in the push to get this bill through to law this month. Will you sign on?
