In the lead-up to January 6th, my son was serving overseas in the Middle East protecting our country and our democracy.

What was Andy Harris doing? Sending robocalls to my elderly parents asking them to protest and “stop the steal.”

On January 6th, Andy Harris fueled the attack on our nation by refusing to certify the election and then getting in a fight in the Capitol. On that day, Andy Harris showed us that he loves power more than America. By his actions, Andy Harris put America’s sons and daughters in danger.

Yesterday, Harris affirmed again that he would rather divide us than unify our nation and build for the future. He again voted against giving the Capitol police the Congressional Gold Medal. Those police saved his life.

Where I grew up, we help our neighbors, serve with honor, and keep our word. In this district, we respect our country and our core values.

Andy Harris is not fit to serve my neighbors, represent my parents, or salute my son.
