Dear John,

The National Poor People’s and Low Wage Workers’ Assembly is just five days away, and we are counting on you to be there!

This will be a historic gathering of poor people, low-wage workers, moral leaders, advocates and people from all walks of life, coming together for the healing of the nation and ourselves. Whether you join online or in-person in Raleigh, NC, we need you to be there as we set the stage for 365 days of fighting forward to the Mass Moral March on Washington in June 2022.

Will you join us?

The Moral Monday Rally on June 21st is shaping up to be a generationally transformative event with low-wage workers and folks directly impacted by failed policies joined by faith leaders like Rev. Dr. Leslie Callahan, Rabbi Jonah Pesner and Imam Khalid Griggs, economists Jeffrey Sachs and Darrick Hamilton, champions of democracy like Attorney Caitlin Swain, Nsé Ufot of the New Georgia Project, Professor Nancy MacLean, former congressman Joe Kennedy, Armenta Eaton, daughter of voting rights hero Rosanell Eaton, Dante Sharpe and many more!

It’s time to fully address poverty and low wages from the bottom up - we need a Third Reconstruction. Join us on Monday, June 21st to join the chorus of voices rising up across the nation to say: When we lift from the bottom everybody rises!

Forward together, not one step back!
