John,
On election night 2020, Donald Trump gave a speech at the East Wing of the White House. He said he won the election. He said that mail-in ballots were inherently fraudulent. He said that the expansion of access to voting was stealing an election.
These attacks from 2020 on vote by mail are the root of the Big Lie, and the original source of right-wing attacks on our democracy. We were warned about this threat, and in 2020 voting rights advocates like you stepped up and donated, volunteered, and dedicated themselves to stopping an American election from being stolen.
But the threat is not over. Attacks on vote by mail are not just threatening an election now, but the fabric of our democracy itself.
So we are sounding the alarm again. Are you going to step up again? Can you chip in $25 to help us protect voting rights?

Democracy is not something we can take for granted. We have to fight for it every day. That’s what we are working on here at Vote From Home. We need to launch an enormous grassroots organizing movement to educate voters on voting by mail. Proving that vote by mail is safe and effective, and not caving to Republican attacks, is the key to standing up for our democracy and defeating these extremist lies.
We need to organize the American people. Can you help us?
Please, chip in $25.

------------
Vote From Home is a grassroots movement that's fighting to expand vote-by-mail. We helped thousands of Democrats vote safely from home in Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina and Georgia in 2020 and 2021. Now we're focused on stopping politicians and legislation who are making it harder for Americans to vote by mail. Please forward this email if you know someone who may be interested. Our average gift is just under $39 so consider donating that today to support voting rights: [link removed]
