I hope this finds you and yours happy, healthy, and ready for summer.  It's actually an unusually perfect day here in D.C., and I won't kid you -- I'd really like to be outside right now! But I also want to keep you plugged in to what we're working on at Country First, as our movement heats up with the weather.

While our movement is focused on empowering ALL reasonable people of goodwill to take the reins and bring sanity back to our political system, one of our biggest goals is to protect the ten Republicans who voted for impeachment, and now face a torrent of primary challengers demanding our heads for daring to vote our consciences. 

Our opponents are fighting so hard for an endorsement from Mar-a-Lago that they are willing to excuse away January 6th, and the insurrection that spit on the rule of law, killed and wounded law enforcement officers, jeopardized the line of succession, and came dangerously close to toppling our system of government.  To add insult to injury, many are now pushing the dangerous conspiracy that January 6th was really all a false flag operation by the FBI. It's crazy and disgusting, to put it bluntly.

No matter your politics, members of Country First recognize that our nation needs at least two strong, sane political parties to allow for balance, competition, and durable problem-solving.  Our system cannot afford to have Trump disciples filling the shoes of the ten members of Congress who had the courage, common sense, conviction, and conscience to do the right thing when it counted most.

As you've probably heard me say, how can we ask our young military men and women to risk their LIVES to defend our country if politicians aren't willing to risk a JOB to do the same thing?  The Ten took that risk, and I'm humbly asking for your support to protect the other nine members who voted with me.  Country First is doing everything in our power to help them win re-election and prove that doing the right thing isn't career suicide.

The truth is, we don’t know what Donald Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Matt Gaetz will throw at us this year -- other than it will be more crazy lies. That’s why we must be prepared and hit every goal to ensure we can execute our full plan to fight back against whatever they throw at us.
