Friend,

Alabama. California. Connecticut. Delaware. Florida. Georgia. Illinois. Indiana. Kansas. Massachusetts. Michigan. Minnesota. Mississippi. Missouri. Nebraska. New Jersey. New York. Oregon. Pennsylvania. Texas. Virginia. As of today, there are 26 confirmed vaping deaths in 21 states.

Every day, teens who have been led to believe vaping is harmless are being tricked into a lifetime of addiction and disease. JUUL e-cigarettes and other brands deliver powerfully addictive nicotine.

We now know that vaping is also delivering dangerous chemicals and unknown toxins.

With Big Tobacco executives at its helm, JUUL's true pursuit has never been clearer: Rake in the bucks by hooking a new generation on nicotine.

That's why I introduced the PROTECT Act to ensure children are protected from the insidious vaping industry. This bill would create a CDC program dedicated to informing students, parents, educators, community organizations, and local leaders about the harms of e-cigarettes. As Attorney General of Connecticut, I led and won against Big Tobacco in a 46-state lawsuit – holding the industry accountable for deceiving the public about the health dangers of smoking. Now, I'm ready to do whatever it takes in Congress to pass the PROTECT Act and stop this new spike in nicotine addiction.

I need 3,000 concerned Americans to join me in this urgent fight by demanding that Congress make the passage of this legislation a priority. Can I count on you to sign my petition before midnight?

There is an urgent need for more resources to combat and stop this growing epidemic – and for Congress and the Trump administration to act. By giving those on the frontlines of this fight the tools to prevent youth e-cigarette addiction, we can stop Big Tobacco from stealing the health and well-being of our children.

Please join me: [link removed]

Add your name now to help combat and stop the harmful rise of e-cigarette use among our nation's youth.

Thank you so much for speaking out,

Dick
