My team reached out yesterday to let you know we’re a little behind on our June fundraising.

The truth is, I expected this to happen. With so much going on in Washington over the past few weeks — like fighting to protect voting rights, pass the Equality Act, protect the right to choose, and expand affordable health care — I just haven’t been able to focus on anything other than doing my job.

Look, we finally have the Democratic majority we need to make significant progress after years of Republican obstruction. That’s why it’s so important I stay focused on doing what the people of Wisconsin elected me to do in the first place — my job.
