During my campaign, I promised to fight for Georgians every day if you elected me to Congress. And I've been doing just that. Since day one, I've worked to provide much-needed relief for Georgians at home, work, and school. I helped pass the American Rescue Plan, a major investment in Georgia's economy, jobs, schools, and vaccine distribution.

And earlier this month, I fought to pass the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act to stem the rise of anti-Asian hate crimes in America. We are also working on the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, voting rights protections, gun safety reform, the Equality Act, improving maternal mortality, and Medicaid expansion, among many many other issues.

Republicans have tried to stop us at every turn. These accomplishments were only possible because you worked hard to elect Democrats like me in the swing seats that gave us the majority.

Last year we were the only House District successfully flipped red-to-blue in the country, and we turned Georgia blue. That doesn't make 2022 any easier. Republicans are gunning for us and already trying to rig the maps so I can't win again. The GOP made it very clear that they want to get rid of Democrats and flip Georgia red again.
