John,
I'm John Bisognano, Executive Director of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee. I want to start off by thanking you for supporting our work.
The NDRC is a groundbreaking organization that's making waves in the fight against gerrymandering. With our four-pronged strategy -- winning key state elections, fighting in the courts, mobilizing the grassroots, and supporting reform efforts -- we're fighting for fair districts all over the country.
Thanks to our incredible grassroots team, we had a lot of great successes in our first two years. We helped to elect eight Democratic governors, flip six state legislative chambers, and pass five fair redistricting ballot measures, in addition to helping to win countless down-ballot races and raise awareness about the importance of fair maps. But that was just the beginning.
In 2019, we have big plans to build on our past victories to shift the balance of power away from Republicans. We're also building a grassroots movement to fight on-the-ground for a fair 2021 redistricting. Republicans are now aware of what we're capable of -- and they'll be digging in harder than ever to keep their manipulated maps.
So we need you with us. We're in a battle over the future of our democracy. Will you follow us on social media for breaking news and takeaways from leaders like our Chair and former Attorney General Eric H. Holder, Jr.?

I'm looking forward to sharing more about our plans soon. The 2019 elections are right around the corner, and 2020 won't be far behind. The success of our mission depends on the strength of this grassroots team. I'm so grateful that you've chosen to join us.
Thanks,
John Bisognano (Biz)
Executive Director
