If Republicans had popular policy ideas, they wouldn’t have to block people from voting in order to win elections.

Republicans are now trying to block the For the People Act, critical legislation which would protect and expand voting rights, limit the influence of dark money in politics, and push back against partisan gerrymandering.

Anyone who has fought overseas to defend our democracy understands how important it is that we protect voting rights for all eligible Americans -- because our sacred right to vote is at the very heart of our democracy.

That’s why -- as the largest progressive organization of veterans and military families in the country -- we feel it is our responsibility to speak out. Will you join us?
