The 2022 midterm elections will make or break Democrats' ability to keep passing a bold agenda for the American people – an agenda including passing gun reform, protecting affordable health care, safeguarding voting rights and more.

With Mitch McConnell pledging to obstruct all efforts of the Biden administration, it is mission-critical we defend and expand our Senate majority. But Senate control could come down to Florida – and I'm falling $6,532 short of my midnight grassroots fundraising goal to defeat Marco Rubio and flip Florida blue. The deadline is approaching quickly, so before I ask you to donate, let me remind you of what we're up against:

Republican legislatures across the country are united in an effort to suppress the vote – including here in Florida. And Marco Rubio has thrown his full support behind these new voter suppression laws. 

These laws are designed to stop Democrats – mostly Black voters and other communities of color – from getting to the ballot box, because the GOP isn't sure they can win based on their policies alone.

We have to work twice as hard to reach, register and turn out a record number of voters to win in Florida and defend our Democratic Senate majority. But that only happens if I hit every single grassroots goal – and I can't hit tonight's goal without you, friend. That's why I'm counting on you and everyone reading this email to make a contribution right now. 

The GOP is trying to silence your vote because when we vote, we win: Please rush a donation of $5 or more now – whatever you can spare to help me hit this major goal – so we can defeat Marco Rubio and win in Florida.
