Workshop - London Assembly Campaigning
Monday 21-June, 18.00-19.30
John
Our London Assembly members – Sian, Caroline and Zack – are developing a new programme of campaign work and they need your help.
They are looking for volunteers to get involved in research and policy development at a London level, informed by local campaigns and local knowledge, which can be used to help change policy and get action on Green ideas at a local and regional level.
No experience or skills required, we’ll form small teams to work on areas people are interested in and ensure that each group includes people with skills, experience and interest and each team will receive guidance from Caroline, Zack and Sian.
We have a huge opportunity to influence policy and make a difference with the platform we have which will also give every local party great policies and stories for the all-important council elections next year.
If you are interested but can’t attend the meeting, please contact Zoë Garbett (our Policy and Campaigns Officer) on Basecamp (sign up here) or at [email protected]
We appreciate that this is short notice, but we wanted to start this process after the Assembly Members had a chance to start work with their committees and before the summer. There will be a further call for volunteers at the usual London Green Party Ordinary meeting on 19th July.
Regards
Zoë Garbett
