Social Security Works is pretty big on Facebook―we have more than half a million Page Likes, and on a good week a few hundred thousand people see our posts. But Donald Trump has a Facebook page with 32.9 million followers, and if Facebook lifts his ban, tens of millions of people will be exposed to his lies immediately.

Social Security only works if we have a society. Donald Trump wants to tear our society apart―so it’s imperative that Facebook make his ban permanent.

Tell Facebook: Ban Trump from your platform permanently!

Just a few weeks ago, Facebook announced that it could let Trump back on Facebook as soon as early 2023―just in time for him to launch a Presidential campaign.

It’s important to remember what led to Trump getting banned from Facebook in the first place: He spent months undermining confidence in our elections and democracy, particularly targeting older Americans with lies and misinformation, and then once he’d whipped his followers into a frenzy, he told them to storm the U.S. Capitol and stop the Electoral College count that would confirm President Biden’s victory.

More than 100 Capitol Police officers were injured, many offices were damaged, and five people died. In the middle of the riot, Trump released a video telling the insurrectionist terrorists that he “loved them.” And, if anything, he’s more firmly in the grip of his Big Lie than ever.
