** Celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day by investing in Indigenous rights!

------------------------------------------------------------
"Within the framework of Indigenous Peoples Day, resistance and protection of our lands and territories is a historical right of our Peoples. Today, we continue to demand respect for our individual and collective rights that have been violated since the invasion of Europeans. Indigenous Peoples have resorted to community as a key element not only to resist, but to overcome oppressive systems and to continue to claim our Indigenous identities." -- Galina Angarova (Buryat), Cultural Survival Executive Director

On October 14, let's honor the Peoples who were here first.

It is time to take action for change by recognizing that celebrating the life of Columbus is the same as celebrating the erasure of Indigenous existence.

Join us in supporting Indigenous voices today! ([link removed]) At Cultural Survival, we amplify Indigenous voices by supporting community media efforts, grassroots advocacy, Indigenous women's and youth leadership, and development projects that are led by Indigenous people and rooted in Indigenous knowledge.

Your generous gift will help raise up Indigenous Peoples' voices around the world as they continue to fight for their lands, languages, spiritual and artistic traditions, and dynamic cultures. For more than 47 years, Cultural Survival has been supporting grassroots Indigenous community movements as we work with Indigenous Peoples worldwide in their fight for self-determination and self-governance.

Please give to Cultural Survival ([link removed]) in honor of Indigenous Peoples Day: a day to reckon, celebrate and uplift the voices of Indigenous Peoples. When you give to Cultural Survival, you are helping to build something. You are investing in the defense of Indigenous Peoples’ rights, lands, and cultures.

Thank you! Bayarlaa!

We also invite you to help the movement grow by joining in an Indigenous Peoples Day celebration ([link removed]) !
