Operation Healthy Delta
Starting today, many people who cannot afford healthcare will be receiving it from U.S. military personnel at Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church in Caruthersville. Operation Healthy Delta is an Innovative Readiness Training program that gives the U.S. military an opportunity to practice medical skills while deployed in a stateside environment and offer no-cost medical, dental, and optical care to people in the community. School physicals will also be provided at no cost to the student. No proof of insurance or identification is required for treatment.
