In 2020, Democrats across Georgia organized and built the infrastructure to turn out voters statewide — and it worked. We delivered President Biden the White House, flipped the Senate Blue, and held our majority in the House of Representatives. In fact, I flipped the only seat in the House from Republican to Democrat.

And now I am up against my biggest challenge yet: the GOP will stop at nothing to defeat me in 2022 and take Georgia back.

With the passage of one of the most extreme voter suppression bills in the country, Georgia Republicans are purging hundreds of thousands of voters from the voter rolls, blocking Black and brown voters from accessing the polls, and even made it illegal for a nonpartisan volunteer to give a bottle of water to a voter waiting in line outside of a polling place.

I am working together with the Democratic Party of Georgia to hold our majority. Together we will continue working for affordable health care, good jobs, and strong infrastructure for Georgia’s families.
