When a left-wing, mainstream media journalist recently toured through Long Island - the place where I was born and raised, and where I currently serve as Congressman - she was outraged to find so many people proud to be Americans.

For many Democrats, the Stars and Stripes are something they resent, not something that is a beacon of freedom and liberty!

If they had their way, our American values would be replaced with a partisan, far-left agenda. We can’t let them get the chance - will you help me break up their one-party rule and defend our values as New York’s Governor?
We should be reminded that our flag represents unique rights and liberties that are found nowhere else in the world. I served overseas for this flag, and many brave men and women have given their lives for it.

Try as the Left might to convince us otherwise, our flag and our values should be celebrated!

As this journalist witnessed, New Yorkers are proud Americans who want leaders who will defend our founding principles. Will you help me do so in this campaign to unseat far-left Andrew Cuomo?
