Scott here with the Democratic Party of Georgia. I’m reaching out because we’re at risk of falling behind our mid-month goal. I hope you’ll let me explain why we can’t afford to miss this goal. This is a long email so, if you’re already with us, you can rush a donation here.

There’s a lot at stake next year and success in Georgia is vital. The path to keeping the Senate and House goes straight through Georgia with crucial House seats and Senator Reverend Warnock on the ballot. What happens here in Georgia next year will impact all Americans.

Beyond that, it’s CRITICAL we fight dangerous and racist lawmakers like Marjorie Taylor Greene (who also wants Trump to be Speaker of the House next year so they can try and impeach President Biden). We can’t do this without your support.

Republicans saw how Georgia led Democrats to victory at every level, from winning the presidency to flipping the U.S. Senate. And frankly, they’re enraged. So, they’ve already started coming at us with everything they’ve got — for example, in just the first quarter of 2021, dangerous extremist Marjorie Taylor Greene had an “eye-popping fundraising haul" of $3.2 million according to POLITICO.

This is why your support NOW is so urgent. Even though 2022 might seem far away, Republicans have already started gearing up in full force. And building the grassroots movement we need to take them on takes time and resources. So, can you rush a donation to ensure we don’t miss our critical deadline?

We’ve seen how Georgia Republicans are suppressing voting rights — an alarming attack against our democracy. Strong fundraising numbers are not only critical to fighting back, but they also show Republicans they can’t get away with this assault on our rights.

Simply put, falling behind this goal will empower Republicans to continue pushing extremist candidates like Marjorie Taylor Greene and dangerous bills like SB 202.
