The For the People Act will move us in the direction we need to repair our democracy -- and this bill is scheduled for a vote this month. But not a single Republican in the Senate has publicly signaled support for it even though many provisions of the bill are broadly popular amongst the public, including Democrats, independents, AND Republicans.

This comes as no shock to anyone -- this has become a party that has no interest in listening to the people they claim they want to represent.

That’s why this bill is so necessary -- to stop the corrupting influence of dark money, special interests, and gerrymandering.

Now is the time to step up. None of us want to wake up the day after the big vote on the For the People Act and say, "I could have done a little bit more." So I’m asking you one last time before the vote -- can I count on you to support this fight [[link removed]]

Pundits and our opponents may be focused on the hurdles ahead of us, but we cannot give up, John.

We can’t be pessimistic. We need to keep fighting. We have the people behind us and we must use that power. I’m relying on you.

Will you make a donation right now to help our movement continue the fight for fair maps and the sacred mission to restore our democracy? [[link removed]]

We can do this,
Eric H. Holder, Jr.
