A CLOSER LOOKVaping

Washington Governor Jay Inslee recently issued an executive order imposing a statewide ban on flavored vaping products, including those containing THC. The ban, which is set to begin today, October 10, will last 120 days. Inslee’s directive specifically noted the government’s responsibility to protect children from this public health emergency. A Health Affairs Blog post from August 8, 2017, highlights the popularity of these e-cigarettes among youth and asks that the FDA continue exercising its regulatory authority on behalf of minors.
