John, when I see a problem, I get to work to solve it. It’s just what I do.

As a physician, I did everything I could to diagnose the illnesses or problems facing my patients and get to work to treat them.

When I came to realize that many of the problems impacting my patients were happening outside the exam room, like a lack of access to quality, affordable health care, I got to work fighting for passage of the Affordable Care Act.

And as Chair of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners, each time a problem has hit our county — like the need to test our residents and vaccinate them during the COVID-19 pandemic — I got to work to address it head on.

That record of problem solving is unique in politics these days, and we need more of that in Washington. So when I see all the noise and dysfunction in Congress holding our country back, I know I can cut through it to get things done for all Pennsylvanians, from creating good-paying union jobs to expanding access to quality, affordable health care.

But we’re up against a $40 million problem — that’s the amount of money Senate Republicans have raked in so far to try to hold this seat and take back the Senate majority. When I see a problem I get to work to solve it, but this one is going to take all of us to tackle it. I need your help, especially when we’re weeks away from making our quarterly fundraising numbers public for the first time ever.

John, will you chip in $5 toward our Flip Pennsylvania Fund so we will have the resources to fight back against Senate Republicans and end our first quarter strong?
