I’m incredibly excited that we just swore in our newest Democratic Representative, Melanie Stansbury, to Congress. Melanie’s victory in New Mexico a few weeks ago was a massive boost for our Democratic caucus, strengthening the margin of our majority from 8 seats to 9. But, our margin is still dangerously small.

It’s critical that we hold our majority so that we can keep passing President Biden’s agenda for the American people. However, there is another concern that keeps me up at night if we lose our House majority. In January, many Republicans in Congress tried to reverse the Presidential election results by refusing to certify Joe Biden’s victory. We were able to stop them and certify the election results thanks to our Democratic majority. If we lose the House, Republicans could try to steal the next election – and they could succeed.

Can you chip in and help us keep a Democratic majority to ensure the nightmare scenario won’t happen?
