I want to share some numbers that are on my mind right now. Is it okay if
I share them with you real quick?

* 15: As of today, there are only 15 days left until our next
end-of-quarter Federal Elections Commission filing deadline.
Everyone’s going to be watching what numbers we put out: Political
pundits, potential future challengers for Cori’s seat in 2022, and of
course the GOP will be looking to see how much support Cori has and
assessing the strength of our progressive movement.

* $25,000: We want to put out our best numbers yet for this
end-of-quarter deadline to demonstrate the power of our grassroots
movement. So we set a goal to raise $25,000 by tomorrow at midnight to
make sure we’re on track with our fundraising goals.

* $21.37: This is the average amount we’ve received from online
donations this month. We’re proud of this number because it represents
the people-powered movement that’s funding Cori’s legislating and
organizing work in Congress. We’re relying on donations like these to
hit our goal tomorrow.

As the finance person for Team Cori, I know what this movement is capable
of when we work together.

When we put together our $1, $5, and $21.37 donations together — we have
the power to create a new kind of politics that’s built by real people and
to fight for the transformative solutions our communities need.

Together, we’re showing the country and the establishment how powerful a
people-centric, grassroots powered campaign can be.

But here’s the challenge we face right now: We’re a little behind where we
wanted to be in the month with our fundraising. Time is running out, but I
know if we all work together, chipping in whatever we can afford, we can
hit this goal.
