Hi John, it’s Gisele — and Levi!
❤️

My soulmate and I were up to something pretty doggone special today (John
was there too). 😉 We headed to Harrisburg to show our support for Senate
Bill 232 and House Bill 526.

If you care about rescue pups as much as I do, hear me out: Senate Bill
232 and House Bill 526 would work to prevent animal cruelty and save the
Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement in Pennsylvania,
John. [ [link removed] ]If you’re with me, please send a
letter to the Pennsylvania State Legislature urging them to pass these two
critical pieces of legislation now:

[ [link removed] ]Yes, I'll send a letter!

John, did you
know that Pennsylvania is on the verge of becoming the puppy mill capital
of the East?

For years, the Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement has played a critical role in
the well-being of our furry friends in Pennsylvania. From saving dogs from
puppy mills, to protecting canines in kennels, to providing shelter for
pups on the streets, the Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement provides a lifeline
for stray dogs suffering from abuse and neglect.

But this mission — the very mission that helped deliver our good boi Levi
into our arms — is now at risk. Simply put: The Bureau of Dog Law
Enforcement is not just out of funding, it’s in the red.

Fees from dog licenses, which fund the bureau, have not increased in 25
years. Our only solution is for Pennsylvania's state lawmakers to pass
Senate Bill 232 and House Bill 526, which would raise the dog licensing
fee by only a few bucks — all so we can provide critical funding to keep
shutting down puppy mills, provide shelters for strays, and keep our
doggies safe.

TL;DR — without Senate Bill 232 and House Bill 526, Pennsylvania will not
have the financial resources to ensure that dogs are treated humanely,
putting dogs and puppies at greater risk of abuse and neglect.

[ [link removed] ]So, will you throw me and Levi a bone,
John? Will you send a letter to Pennsylvania
lawmakers asking them to pass Senate Bill 232 and House Bill 526, which
would protect our most vulnerable pups? I promise it will take 30 seconds
or less because I pre-drafted the letter, so all you have to do is sign it
(but you can also make edits below).

[ [link removed] ]Yes, I'll send a letter!

Thanks so much for your support.

With love

Gisele ❤️
