John --

After Senate Republicans blocked a measure to create a January 6 commission, GA Sen. Raphael Warnock stood to share a reflection: “Sometimes we're standing in the midst of a defining historical moment, and we miss the magnitude of it all. … We are in a renewed, 21st-century fight to defend our democracy so that we might pass on a future that's worthy of all our children.”

Warnock's words ring true, John: We are here as “representatives of a democracy that folks on the other side have decided they're not willing to defend.”

In 2020, Democrats gave their blood, sweat, and tears to Georgia -- and our efforts worked. We flipped the Senate and sent Raphael Warnock to Washington. Since then, he's been one of the biggest allies to Biden's progressive agenda, and his vote is going to be crucial to passing this legislation that will provide dignity to workers, families, and voters -- especially those from communities of color.

John, the first step to protecting our democracy this cycle is defending Raphael Warnock's seat to secure our Senate majority.

But this time, Republicans are launching one of the biggest voter suppression efforts in the country to steal Warnock's seat back.

Sen. Warnock won by just TWO points in January. He's the GOP's number one target, so we need Democrats to be all in to keep Georgia blue.

There's a lot on the line in this race and this cycle, but our fundraising has plummeted in recent weeks, and we're $2,091 short of our goal to protect the Senate and vulnerable Democrats like Raphael Warnock.
