In just six days summer is officially here. Along with special traditions including Chesapeake Blue Crabs and 4th of July parades, that also means that at the end of this month our campaign faces an important test: the end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline.

At the end of June, every federal campaign will have to file a public report with the Federal Election Commission that includes both the amount of money we have raised and the number of people who have joined in to support our campaign.

As we head into the summer it's important that Democrats are engaged and ready to begin preparing in earnest for the critical 2022 midterm elections. We will need to build a strong grassroots movement to stop Republicans from undoing our majority and bringing Trump's agenda back with them.

Our June fundraising target is one important indicator of our readiness — can you chip in today to help us meet our goal before the end of the quarter? Every contribution helps us build a grassroots campaign that's up to the task of protecting our Senate majority and our democracy in 2022:

The priorities we are fighting for include passing a 21st century infrastructure package, protecting and strengthening our democracy, investing in the American people, confronting climate change, and addressing the urgent issues of social justice and racial equity.

Thank you for being a part of this important fight!

Onwards,

Chris
