Two hundred and fifteen children’s bodies were uncovered in Kamloops as a result of the tragedies caused by residential school.

Canada’s Building Trades Unions stand with residential school survivors, their families and the children who never returned home.

UA Canada has developed a campaign, calling on the Federal, Provincial and Territorial Governments to prioritize their commitment to Truth and Reconciliation for Indigenous Peoples and complete a full investigation into all Indian Residential Schools in Canada.

The campaign is meant to bring light to Canada’s history and work towards true reconciliation.

We encourage you to visit the site, and send a letter of your own to your local Member of Parliament and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. We are committed to a more diverse and inclusive country and will continue our work in this area to do our part.
