John,
Each day brings us more devastating evidence of Donald Trump’s corruption, moral depravity, and unfitness for office. Just this morning we learned that two business associates of Trump's personal lawyer Rudolph Giuliani, were arrested for a scheme involving funneling foreign money to Donald Trump's 2016 campaign and a pro-Trump super PAC.1
Over the past few weeks, multiple documents and communications have emerged that show Trump corruptly using his power as president to try and coerce foreign governments into manufacturing damaging material on his political opponents. He’s admitted to impeachable offenses in interviews, and repeated them in front of television cameras. Now he’s obstructing witnesses from testifying and rejecting the legitimacy of Congressional oversight itself by refusing to cooperate in any way with the House impeachment inquiry.
At the same time, we’ve seen a rapid increase in support for impeachment and removal among both members of Congress and with the public. For the first time, a majority of Americans in multiple polls now support Trump’s impeachment and removal from office, and cracks are beginning to emerge even among Trump’s Republican base.2
With events moving so rapidly, we wanted to stop and take a moment to hear your thoughts and opinions about impeachment, how Democrats in Congress are handling it, and how we as a movement should be approaching it in the coming days, weeks, and months. Will you take our short impeachment survey to share your thoughts?

No one should be above the law in this country. Trump’s flagrant abuses of power since before he was even elected may be finally starting to catch up with him. And while we’ll definitely be keeping our eye on the ball of electing working families champions up and down the ballot in 2019 and 2020, what happens over the next few weeks in the impeachment inquiry will also be incredibly consequential.
That’s why we want to hear from you on what you think Congress should do next, and how you plan to engage in the coming weeks and months. Take our brief impeachment survey now to share your thoughts with us.
We look forward to reading each and every one of your responses.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
