Every year more and more donors are giving through donor advised funds. These funds are established as pools from which donors make grants and they are hosted in a variety of types of organizations including community foundations, federations, and so-called commercial funds like Fidelity Charitable.

As one of this nation’s largest Donor Advised Fund sponsors with over 123,000 Donor accounts, Fidelity Charitable has a bird’s eye view of who the donors are that make up the fastest growing philanthropic phenomenon in the country – who they are, where they are located, how much they give, and most importantly, what motivates them to give and how they approach giving. In this session with Amy Pirozzolo, we’ll learn all this and more about Fidelity Charitable’s donors and then explore several important strategies that nonprofits can use to reach out to and connect with DAF donors.
