We are less than one week away from our first-ever Movement Lawyering Conference [[link removed]] ! We’re thrilled to have you at this inaugural event as part of our 20th anniversary in the fight for civil rights and racial justice. This one-of-a-kind conference co-hosted by Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Center and the Law for Black Lives will be filled with informative and engaging discussions by experienced movement lawyers like Prof. Justin Hansford, Executive Director, Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Centers; Vince Warren, Executive Director, Center for Constitutional Rights; Scott Roberts, Senior Director of Criminal Justice Campaigns, Color of Change , amongst others.

Join us Wednesday, October 16, from 9am to 5pm at Howard University School of Law as we highlight unique lawyering approaches and the role of community lawyering in the fight for justice. This conference will feature two detailed and innovative sessions. We will have break out sessions focusing on:
