When was the last time you took a pop quiz? This month, we're focused on hunger at Save the Children, and I thought it might be fun to give you a chance to test your knowledge.  

If you haven't thought about how malnutrition affects a child's future lately, you're not alone. Many of us never have to wonder if our neighborhood children are getting enough to eat or consider what happens when a growing toddler doesn't get the nutrients their body needs. But for millions of people all over the world, this is a daily reality.  

This year has been a hard one for so many families. Climate change is pushing farmers in Somalia off the land their families have worked for generations. Conflict in Yemen has kept families from building safe homes and livelihoods to feed their children. And then COVID-19 interrupted the global food supply and eliminated millions of jobs.  

Thanks to the generosity of concerned supporters like you, Save the Children was able to scale up hunger prevention operations around the world this year. We provided crisis hunger intervention and long-term support for nearly two million people, from the United States to Somalia and beyond.
