John —
Our first official FEC fundraising deadline is quickly approaching so I wanted to take a moment to share with you what we’re fighting for and why this race is so important.

Right now in Washington, too many elected officials only respond to the wealthy and well-connected — North Carolina’s current senators included. They’ve ignored the needs of our families to prioritize the interests of corporations and themselves.

It’s happening right now. Democrats are trying to pass popular ideas that have broad bipartisan support among voters, but Senate Republicans are blocking them at every opportunity.

While traveling across the state, I hear how fed up people are with the gridlock, and I am too. It should not be controversial to pass bills that protect our democracy and our right to vote, make health care affordable, raise the minimum wage, fight climate change and more.

I’ll fight for real change in the Senate and focus on the issues that people like you actually care about. But first, we have to flip this seat.

I’m respectfully asking you to make a $3 donation to our people-powered campaign today to give North Carolinians new leadership and a voice in the Senate:

Our first official FEC deadline is just a couple weeks away, and we can’t do this without your support.

Thank you!
