That’s why, as Republican legislators in 48 states introduce 389 restrictive voting bills, I’m proud to support HR1, the For the People Act. At this critical moment, I’m asking you to stand with me and be one of the 1,000 signers we need to demonstrate our support.

We need to protect our right to vote in free and fair elections immediately. The For the People Act will shut down the current surge of voter suppression laws in every state. It’s our best chance to protect our democracy and ensure the will of the people prevails.

67% of Americans support this bill -- including over half of Republican voters . With this widespread support, there’s absolutely no reason this bill shouldn’t be on President Biden’s desk already.

I was honored to co-sponsor this bill in the House, and our Democratic House Majority passed it three months ago. But now it’s facing serious obstruction in the Senate, and we can’t give up the fight.

We’re at an inflection point, and the future of our democracy is at stake. We need a surge of public support for HR1 loud enough to overpower the GOP billionaires and corporate interests working against us. Are you with me?
