Serving as Laura's Lt. Governor has been an honor and I'm excited to see the progress we can continue to make in the future. Under Laura’s leadership, we have fully funded our schools three years in a row, brought historic economic growth to our state, and invested in children and families -- and she's ready to continue that work in her next term as governor.

I asked Laura if I could reach out to you today to talk about why hitting our mid-month fundraising goal is so important.

You see, winning this race won't be easy. We're going up against Sam Brownback's former lieutenant governor and successor, Jeff Colyer, and one of his biggest supporters, Derek Schmidt, who are willing to do -- and spend -- whatever it takes to win.

The attacks against Laura's record have already begun, and we know they're only going to get worse. The chair of the Republican Governors Association even said in an interview that winning in Kansas is one of his top priorities.

I’m proud to work with Laura, fighting for Kansans all across the state. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish -- together. We need to make sure Laura can continue fighting for all Kansans, and that means making sure we hit every goal we set.

Winning won't be easy and it's so important that we hit our $10,000 June mid-month fundraising goal before Tuesday's deadline. Chip in $5 or more to help us get there.
