Tell Congress:
Include HR 3 in the infrastructure package and address soaring, unaffordable drug prices in the U.S.

John,
More than a third of the average Social Security check goes towards out-of-pocket health care costs―and a lot of that goes to prescription drugs.
That’s too much. Pharmaceutical greed has gone unchecked, especially against seniors. Because Medicare is forbidden by law from negotiating drug prices, Big Pharma markets drugs exclusively to seniors that cost tens of thousands of dollars.
The most brazen example is an Alzheimer’s treatment that may or may not be effective, but will cost $56,000 anyway. But that’s just this week’s instance of predatory pricing by pharmaceutical corporations. Drug prices are too high, and we need to demand that Congress act to lower them!
Sign now to tell Congress to lower drug prices now!
Democrats in the House of Representatives recently reintroduced H.R. 3, the Lower Drug Costs Now Act, which would allow Medicare to directly negotiate lower drug prices, make sure that Americans aren’t gouged relative to other countries, and more. Big Pharma is terrified this bill will pass, and they’ve got armies of lobbyists crawling the halls of Congress to fight back.
But the American people are fed up with getting ripped off. So we have to use our voices and make sure that Congress listens!
Sign now: Tell Congress to lower drug prices NOW!
Thanks,
