June meetings for True Texas Project are HOT!!!
Scroll down for shareable details on LUBBOCK COUNTY!

Every location will have a legislative recap.  This is our most popular meeting, and it only happens once every two years!  Some locations have an extraordinary main speaker and a more brief recap prior; others have an entire panel for the recap moderated by our own Fran Rhodes!  Plus of course we are launching in NW Harris County (Houston area), our softball games begin, and don't forget our dining club at the end of the month! Lots going on to get involved!
See ya there!
Julie McCarty, volunteer CEO
PS.  Did you see our election results?  Not bad!  You can check them out here.  If you are on Facebook, please note that I am now found here.  I exceeded the limit for a private page, so I had to start a public profile.  Would love to have you with us!

Start spreading the news!

Here are June's meeting dates with graphics and event links you can share! Because Facebook has banned us from advertising, it is more important than ever that YOU do your part to send personal invites. We have definitely seen a decline in attendance since that ban was made. That's their goal, and only we, as individuals, can take responsibility to counteract it. Don't assume someone else is gonna make it all happen! We can create the events, bring in great speakers, do all the legwork... but YOU have to show up and bring friends!

June 10 - NW Harris County launched w/ Stickland, Rinaldi & Huffines

June 12 - The always-sold-out Citizen Advocate Training came to Lubbock

June 14 - Tarrant County hosts a personal fave of mine, Russ Vought (formerly with Heritage Action, then Trump's administration, and now with a new org). Russ just launched a new tool to push back against Critical Race Theory (CRT); we will also have a legislative review from trust leaders

We know the RGV Sector is often ignored by the elected class. Not anymore. Plus we will have a legislative review with trusted leaders.

June 26 - Dining Club hosts BBQ Night! Sign up to host or to just attend. We'd love for counties outside the metroplex to start a club of their own, and we can help with that!
